📄️ Introduction
Welcome to the Autonomous Systems Engineering labs (ASE labs) at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam! Starting April 2024, at most 15 selected students (in groups of three) will be admitted to work on the Autonomous Systems Bachelor Projects which involves research and development of autonomous vehicles in an interdisciplinary and state-of-the-art environment.
📄️ Registration
To participate in the ASE Bachelor Project, you need to register yourself in advance. All participants will work in teams of three and each participant will need to register individually. On the registration form you can let us know about your team preference.
📄️ Expectations and requirements
This project offers a unique and custom made research opportunity to gain lots of experience with systems engineering and group work experience. We therefore seek motivated and truly interested participants.
📄️ Research topics
The following broad topics serve as a starting point for students to start gathering ideas about what they would like to research. After reviewing current literature in the field, students will propose their research questions to the ASE-Team and together a decision will be made for the project.
📄️ Grading
Although students will be working in a group, each student will be graded individually based on their contributions to the project. The final grade will be calculated based on the VU Amsterdam 2024 Computer Science Bachelor Project grading rubric. You can find this rubric here.
